Many thought Monmouth was snubbed by the committee of an at-large bid last year after an impressive non-conference showing and 17-3 MAAC record.  However, the highly anticipated cinderella story took a turn for the worst when in-league rival Iona stunned the Hawks in the MAAC tournament championship game.  Now, after securing the top-2 seeds in this year's bracket, the Gaels and the Hawks are on a collision course for an epic rematch in the MAAC title game.
